Welcome to our Norfolk adventure
After years of treasured family holidays here, we took the leap in 2012 and made this beautiful part of Norfolk our home. With award‑winning attractions nearby and the Norfolk Broads and Norwich just minutes away, we feel incredibly lucky to live and work in such a special place - and we love sharing it with you.
Poolside Lodges began with a simple truth: the best family memories are made on holiday. Steve and I grew up with childhood breaks filled with sandcastles, adventures and precious time with our parents/grandparents.
When we had children of our own, we realised those moments were the real magic of parenting too — days of adventure and play, watching them explore with wide‑eyed excitement. And when they finally drifted off to sleep… those rare pockets of adult time.
No work.
No distractions.
Just reconnecting and sinking into a hot tub under the stars.
Those moments stay with you. They shape you. They become the stories your family tells for years.
We wanted to create a place where other families could experience that feeling too. A place where children can play, parents can slow down, and couples can enjoy peaceful moments together. So, we moved from Cambridgeshire, poured our hearts into Poolside Lodges, and shaped it into the warm, personal space it is today.
We welcome you in personally, make sure you feel at home, and then step back - giving you the freedom to enjoy your stay your way. Our communal pool area is a favourite spot for guests to unwind, chat, and share stories of the day’s adventures. Children splash and play and grown‑ups finally get the chance to relax.
